He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Paul Phipps II (Candance) and Heather Jane Mahaffey (Shawon); his siblings, Joyce Maphis, Janine Harvey and John Phipps II; his grandchildren, Stella Mahaffey, Caleb Harman, Jeffrey Phipps II and Josie Phipps; his nieces and nephews, Edwin Maphis II, Matthew Maphis, David Maphis, Jennifer Ratcliff, John Ratcliff II, William Jander II and Justina Perrot (Jander); his former wife Tamera Maker; and his pet Charity.
