He was predeceased by: his parents, George S. Pratt and Annabelle Pratt. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Yurich Pratt; his sons, Shawn Pratt and Dustin Pratt; his daughter-in-law Tiffany Raimond; his grandchildren, Ayden Michael and Alexis Marie Pratt; and his siblings, Don Pratt and Georgeanne Brubaker.

The family has suggested memorial contributions be made, if desired to Jim's memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
