It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Owen Mateer of Monaca, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 20, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mateer and Elizabeth Mateer (Todd); his wife Esther Mateer (Brown); his granddaughter Morgan Mateer; his siblings, James, Emmett, George Mateer, Gladyth Danis, Myrna Conkle, Doris Wagner, Mary Snyder, Elojeane Weaton and Mae Unholtz; and his sister-in-law Eleanor Craig.
He is survived by: his children, Harry O. Mateer, Jr. (Vickie) and Kathleen Muraco (Frank); his grandchildren, Amy Bradford, Lauren Mateer, Carrie Andrews, Tracy Andrews and Nolan Mateer (Rachel); his great grandchildren, Haleigh Deason, Kalie Butler, Khloe Bradford, Kendall Patenaude, Odessa Andrews and Brayden DePew; his friend Betty Tiani; his brother John Mateer; his friend Melvin Cochran; his sister-in-law Laura Craig; his brother Dave; and his sister-in-law Jody Brown. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
