George Plaskonos Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Plaskonos of Monaca, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 20, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Cecelia; his parents, Semko Plaskonos and Mary Pravid Plaskonos Basar; and his siblings, Anna Koziol, Mary Stripay, Sally Shawger and Steve Plaskonos.

He is survived by: his children, Patricia Gwin (Robert), Donna Gary (George) and Keith Plaskonos (Lauren); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Cody Gary, Aaron (Tarren), Elise Plaskonos and Cristy Szelestey (C. J.). He is also survived by three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family has suggested memorial contributions may be made in his memory, if desired, to a veteran's organization of the donor's choice.
