Genevieve M. Taormina Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Genevieve M. Taormina (Monaca, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph N. Woods and Bertha Woods (Craven) of Beaver Falls; her husband Phillip L. Taormina; and her son Randy P. Taormina. She is survived by: her children, Terry Taormina (Margaret), Rhonda Kirkwood (Jim) and Tarla Strohm (Sam); her daughter-in-law Terri (Rob Postupac); her grandchildren, Marcus Taormina (Roxann), Randy Taormina (Alisha), Tara (Justin), Bickerstaff, Christie LaPearle (Justin), Andrew, Matthew, Laura Kirkwood, Loghan and Averie Strohm; her stepgranddaughter Angela Manigault; and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Taylam, A'Ella Taormina, Gino, Lorenzo Taormina, Lexie, Connor, Zach, Addy, Emme Bickerstaff, Alex and Tyler LaPearle. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Simpson Funeral and Cremation Service (1119 Washington Ave, Monaca, PA 15061). A prayer was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services (1119 Washington Ave, Monaca, PA 15061). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St John the Baptist Catholic Church (1409 Pennsylvania Ave, Monaca, PA 15061).
The family has suggested memorial contributions be made, if desired, in Genevieve's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
