He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Burson and Mary Burlingame Burson; and his siblings, Howard, Edwin, John Burson, Lenora Smith and Ellen Garey.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Davis Burson; his daughters, Golda Hook of Butler, PA and Evelyn Streb of Rochester, PA; and his brothers, James Burson of Negley and Lloyd Burson of North Carolina. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
