She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Brown and Annie Brown; and her siblings, Clyde Owens Jr. (Junior) and Lillian Smith. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Alfonso (Kirk Alfonso), Sabrina Alford, Almelia Alford, Beannder Alford (Deanna), Frederick Martin (Amanda Martin), Michael Martin, Travers Neil Martin (Leslie Martin), Dirk Martin (Regina Martin) and James Alford Jr. (PJ); and her siblings, Sarah Owens-Johnson and Samuel Owens. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren that she loved like her own, and a host of nieces and nephews.
