He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Montgomery and Syble Montgomery; his wife Winifred I. "Winnie" Montgomery; and his brothers, Wilbert, Lendal and Dale Montgomery.
He is survived by: his children, David Montgomery (Jan Baker) of Monaca and Amanda Marchetelli (Steven) of Neville Island; his grandchildren, David Montgomery (Paige Pegher), Steven Mozes (Chris) and Lexi Medovitch (Tom); his great grandchildren, Sam, Rosie, John, Alice, Janna, Bree and Tessa; his sisters-in-law, Shirley and Lori; and his close friend Jim Eaton.
It has been suggested that memorial contributions be made in Monty's memory, if desired to the church.
