He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Tellish and Martha Tellish Hysong (White); and his brother Dennis Hysong. He is survived by: his children, Michele Equale (Paul) of Maryland, Gregory Tellish (Joan) of South Carolina and Jennifer Tellish of Ohio; his grandchildren, Christopher, Gabrielle, Michael Equale, Anthony, Daniele and Gregory Tellish; and his half-brothers, Franklin 'Dewey Hysong, Robert Hysong, Ralph Hysong and Charles 'Chuck Hysong.

The family has suggested memorial contributions be made, if desired to a favorite pet charity or St Jude's Children's Hospital.
