He was predeceased by: his parent John Sharek; and his former wife Donna Jean Sharek. He is survived by: his children, Diane Jenkins (Seth), Patricia Sharek, David John Sharek, Jr. (Melanie Flesch) and Katherine Bobeck (Doug); his grandchildren, Jordan Jenkins, Seth Jenkins Michael Mose (Jennifer), Connor Bobeck, Mason Bobeck, Jackson, Angeleah and Leonnah Knicely; and also Helen Sharek (Chrobak).
