He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Solomon and Mary Solomon; his wife Patricia Solomon (Foley); his sisters, Mary Carol (Bert) and Helen (John); and his pet Stella.

He is survived by: his son Daniel (Denise); and his grandchildren, Danny, Joel (Tori), Mary (Marc), Jesse (Juliette) and Stephen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
