She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold G. Boyer and Velma L. Gormley Boyer; her brother Harold "Butch" Boyer; her brother-in-law Jeffrey Wass; her niece Kim Boyer Kron; and her nephew Richard Wass.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald E Miles; her children, Tara Keeling (Chaim) and Ronald Miles (Laura); her grandsons, Ron Miles, Brandon Barnhart (Charlie), Jacob Miles, Ian Barnhart and Devin Barnhart; her siblings, Cathy Wass and Curtis Boyer (Rose); her sister-in-law Shirley Boyer; and her pet Baker.
The family has suggested memorial contributions be made, if desired to the Autism Society of Pittsburgh and would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice for compassionate care Barbara received.
