She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Shoemaker and Mable Shoemaker (Weaver). She is survived by: her husband Ronald L. Burkhart; her children, Cheryl A. (Donald "Butch" Reinert) of Exeter, Wendy J. Nelson (Jim Hammer Jr.) of Kenhorst, Mitch A. (Deanne G.) and Rhonda L. (Eric Reibseane) of North Carolina; and her brothers, James E. Shoemaker (Elaine) and B. David Shoemaker (Patricia). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
