He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion (Helmke) and Thomas J O'Brien, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Diane E O'Brien (Pepe); his sons, William C and O'Brien (Joseph R. O'Brien); his granddaughter Fallon Marie Fogerty-O'Brien; and his sibling Thomas J. O'Brien, Jr..
