She was predeceased by: her father Thomas G. Shimp. She is survived by: her husband Edward A. Gartland; her mother Dianna J. Shurr (Robert S. Shurr) of Wernersville; her son Brady T. Yurkiewicz of Wernersville; her stepchildren, Shandi M. Stevens (Greg Stevens) of Exeter Township, Krista L. Gartland of Mount Penn, Elizabeth B. Dudley (Andrew Charles Dudley) of Exeter Township and Jonathan D. H. Gartland of Mount Penn; her brother Scott T. Shimp (Tracy V. Shimp) of Newmanstown; and her pet Indy. She is also survived by Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
