It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Talia A. Heinly of Mohnton, Pennsylvania, born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 14, 2021, at the age of 22, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Minta Heinly and Charles Heinly; her siblings, Paige E Pendzick (Greg Pendzick) of Pasadena, MD and Nathan P Heinly (Nikki Brand) of Mohnton, PA; her grandfather Charles Heinly of Bloomsburg, PA; and her pet Willow. She is also survived by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Talia would want donations made to Centre County PAWS, Central PA Humane Society, both of State College, PA, the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, or your local animal rescue or shelter.

“Talia was a superstar in my lab. I have quite a few students that help me catch wild mice and chipmunks. Talia made a huge impact. I'll never forget seeing her crash into the forest edge without a care in the world if there was a path. Some of the students pick their way through the woods, trying not to let too many branches touch them. We really don't have time for that nonsense and to have a girl come out and show those boys how to act in the woods was truly awesome. I'll never forget.”
