Shirley Showalter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2025, Shirley Showalter of Mohnton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert F. Showalter; her parents, Raymond Negri and Margaret Negri (Seifert); and her siblings, Raymond, Donald, Robert, James, Richard, Patricia and Barbara.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary D. Showalter of Mohnton and Kevin R. Showalter (Wanda England) of Lebanon; and her siblings, Franklin Negri of Reading, Dawn J. Melnyk of Wernersville and Janet L. Hill of West Lawn. She is also survived by four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Saint John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (1 Front St, Mohnton, PA 19540). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Laureldale Cemetery (4631 Pottsville Pike, Reading, PA 19605).
