It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth A. Slichter (Mohnton, Pennsylvania), born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 2, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Butterweck and Sadie Butterweck (Lorah); and her siblings, Russel Butterweck, Ernest Butterweck, Nevin Butterweck, Donald Butterweck, Pearl Myers and Grace Bard.

She is survived by: her daughter Marlene Watts (Slichter); her grandson Ryan Watts; and her great grandchildren, Kaia and Amber Watts.

Flowers welcome or donation can be made in her memory to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
