He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey R. Miller and Edithmae R. Smith (Seidel); his stepfather Robert E. Smith; his sister Robin Kraut; his brother-in-law Dr. Jon Kraut; his nieces, Avery, Jessica and April Kraut; and his brother Gary A. Miller.
He is survived by: his son Robert H. Miller, Jr. (Heather Schmidt) of Mohnton; his grandchildren, Tyler, Nicole and Kasei Miller; his stepsons, Todd (Sue Templin) of Shillington and Greg (Debbie Templin) of Sinking Spring; his sister Gayle L. (George Ditzler) of Wernersville; and his stepgrandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas and Emily Templin.
