As we bid Phyllis farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Phyllis is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gregory Mertz; her parents, Lester Schaeffer and Stella Schaeffer (Eagan); and her brothers, Lester Schaeffer, Jr., Richard Schaeffer and Ronald Schaeffer.
She is survived by: her children, TeAnn L. Hartman (Kenneth C. Hartman) and Eric J. Mertz (Jennifer L. Mertz) of Cumru Township; and her grandsons, Joshua Hartman, Justin Hartman, Ethan Mertz and Liam Mertz.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at 423 Grove Ave, Mohnton, PA 19540.
