He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Mason and Jane Clair Mason (Cundy); his brothers, James Mason and Richard Mackel; and his nephew John Burdinskie.

He is survived by: his spouse Kelly A. Mason (Bohanak); his siblings, Joanie Mason, William (Linda Mason), Janarthur (Avia Mason) and Nina (Dennis Faust); his nieces and nephews, Alison Sharpless, Cassie Shipp, Janine Oswald, Cori Muckel, Dennis Faust, Jr., Theresa Stoudt and Alexzander Mason; his great-nieces, McKenzie Oswald and Sophia Stoudt; and his pets, Chewy and Molly.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 301 S 5th St, Reading, PA 19602.
