It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Louise Shelly of Mohnton, Pennsylvania, born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Ermold and Sara Ermold (Berstler); her daughter Marie Ann Shelly; and her siblings, June LaRue Lee and David Warren Ermold.

She is survived by: her husband Dr. Harold Patton Shelly; her sons, Mark Alan Shelly (Debra Shelly) of Wichita and Michael Andrew Shelly (Christal Shelly) of Timonium; and her siblings, Dorothy Charlotte Rishel (Carl Rishel) of Dover and James Robert Ermold (Judith Ermold) of Mohnton. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
