In loving memory of Douglas G. Young (Mohnton, Pennsylvania), born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on March 29, 2025 at the age of 80. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joanne Young; his children, Kenneth Young and Katie Jo Shank; his son-in-law Dustin Shank; his grandchildren, Kendall, Carter, Jack, Chase, Brayden and Ryan; and his great grandchild Bryce Shank.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Evangelical Congregational Church (57 N Church St, Mohnton, PA 19540). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Mohnsville Cemetery (2 E Madison St, Mohnton, PA 19540).
