She was predeceased by: her husband Charles F. "Checker" Balthaser; her parents, Horace Reiter and Miriam Reiter; and her brother Marshall Reiter. She is survived by: her sons, Scott C. (Mary E. Balthaser) of Robesonia and Jeffrey S. (Lisa P. Balthaser) of Sinking Spring; her grandchildren, Tyler J. and Courtney L. Balthaser; and her stepgranddaughters, Heather Flickinger and Monica Weik. She is also survived by four step great grandchildren; five step great great grandchildren.
