He was predeceased by: his parent Irvin Ulrich; his son Michael K. Ulrich; and his grandson Joel Ulrich. He is survived by: his spouse Miriam K. Ulrich (Gates); his parent Pearl Ulrich (Moyer); his daughter Donna M. Blair; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Lynn, Nathan and Amber; his siblings, Shirley Shimp and Victor Ulrich; and also Todd M. Rach. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and 27 nieces and nephews.
