Carl P. Hall Obituary
Carl P. Hall, 67, of Mocanaqua, passed peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Carl loved baseball – a passion he shared with his family – visiting 11 major league ball parks, many with his daughter, Caylyn, and also many minor league games with his grandchildren and wife Catherine. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors – another passion he shared with his daughter.
Born April 10, 1956 in Beaver Falls, PA, he was a son of the late Raymond Ronald Hall and Margaret Lillian (Conner) Hall. He graduated from Black Hawk High School, Beaver Falls, where he played baseball and football. He later worked as a steel mill worker, restaurant manager, police officer, and security guard.
On March 30th 1995 Carl married Catherine Gildea. Together they celebrated 28 years of marriage. In addition to his wife and mother, Carl is survived by his four children: Caylyn Hall, of Leesburg, VA; Matthew Uryss, of Hilton Head, SC; Jessica Keown, and her husband Michael, of Morristown, NJ and Gabriel Leftwich, of California, MD and five grandchildren: Harlow, Patrick, Brendan, Michael and Jimmy.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 followed immediately by a funeral service at the Mayo Funeral Home, Inc, 77 North Main Street, Shickshinny and a burial at Elan Memorial Park Cemetery, Bloomsburg.
