He was predeceased by: his parents, John Samilo and Olga Gontarchick Samilo; his sister Jacqueline Starbuck; and his brother-in-law Duane Starbuck. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Meyers; his daughter Christine "Chrissy" Ashton (Michael Ashton); his grandchildren, John, Madeline and Andrew Ashton of Sugarloaf, PA; his niece Michelle Walters; and his nephew Eric Starbuck.
The family prefers donations to St. Nicholas Cemetery Fund.
