She is survived by: her son Steel; her husband John J. "Jake" Pielacha; her daughters, Susan L. (Scott Purcell) and JaimeLynn (Adam Zimerofsky); her grandchildren, Ryan, Adam, Hunter Purcell, Chase and Cadan Zimerofsky; her great grandchild Elliott Purcell; and her siblings, Thomas G. "Todd" Merchant (Wendy), Kathleen I. Matthews, Cecile M. Lipsett and Coreen (Michael Spece). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and her extended family.
