Joseph Eugene Leshko Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Eugene Leshko (Minersville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leshko and Anna Leshko (Sinko); his wife Dolores; and his brother John Leshko. He is survived by: his children, Michaeline Matz, Martina (Ryan Buffington) and Jeremy Leshko; his siblings, Michael, Charles Leshko, AnnMarie Yacobacci and Julianne Yesalusky; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Madeline, Julia, Colby, Harmon, Charlotte and Nathan; his great grandchild Nilsa; and his godson Christopher Leshko. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home, Inc. (104 S 4th St, Minersville, PA 17954). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM. During the pandemic, he took to the internet to "attend" mass weekly to a few churches that would broadcast their services online.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donation made in Joe's name to Ss. Peter & Paul Memorial Fund.
