He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Gleason, Sr. and Florence Gleason; his wife Dorothy Ryncavage; his brother Martin "Pete" Gleason; and his brother-in-law Thomas Ryncavage.

He is survived by: his daughter Patrice Taglieri (Joseph); his grandson Douglas Taglieri; his great grandchild Emmalina Joy Taglieri; and his sister-in-law Rosemarie Gleason.
