She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Platt and Edna Platt (Gamble); and her siblings, Lee, Donald, Larry Platt, Georginna Emerson and Rebecca Knipple.
She is survived by: her husband James Edward Vasbinder; her children, Sherry Kinsey (Wayne), Jim Vasbinder (Lisa), Brandy Carbone (John) and Joellen Nevins (Mike); and her siblings, James Platt and Penny Neff. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made toward dementia and Alzheimer's research.
