He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Dieffenderfer and Sadie Dieffenderfer (Mitchell); his spouse Shirley A. Finck; his grandson Kyle Tamecki; and his siblings, Anna R. Harner, Wanda Aikey, Alvaretta Sheets and Gordon Dieffenderfer.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Lee Dieffenderfer (Audrey) of Charlotte Hall, MD and Patricia Tamecki (Pattie) of Milton; his brother Bill Dieffenderfer of White Deer; his sister-in-law Phyllis Keiser (Terry) of Lewisburg; and his grandchildren, Bethany Seiple (Nathan), Brian Dieffenderfer (Maria), Amy Dieffenderfer and Logan Tamecki.
