She was predeceased by: her parents, Rue Erdman and Helen Erdman (Romberger); her husband Alan W. Long; and her siblings, LaRue Machamer and Rue Erdman, Jr..

She is survived by: her son Christopher Long (Diane); her sister Stella Bingman; and her grandchildren, Ashley and Caleb Long. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Sandy's memory be made to a children's charity of your choice.
