He was predeceased by: his parents, Gunnar Gudmundson and Ruth Gudmundson (DuBois); his wife Clara Deutschlander; and his siblings, Howard, Gunnar, Elin, Jean and Louise.
He is survived by: his children, Claire Shampanore (Rick) of Stuart, FL, Richard Long (Dana) of Coudersport and Joyce Jamieson of Milton; and his grandchildren, Jim Shampanore of Milton, Glenn Shampanore of Milton, Keefe Long of Wyomissing, Mark Long of Coudersport, Britta Petrich of State College, Christopher Jamieson of Bremerton, WA and Eric Jamieson of Milton. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
