He was predeceased by: his parent Lajos Sarkany. He is survived by: his parent Klara Sarkany (Hoffman); his spouse Charlotte A. James; his daughter Angela C. Sarkany-Trewitz of Danville; his grandsons, Jaedon Trewitz, Jhace Trewitz and Journey Trewitz; and his sisters, Klara Ambrus and Ibolya Sarkany.
