Carter; her daughters, Catherine Gibson (Adam) of Kendallville, IN, Sarah Simms (Lachlin) of Australia and Leah Carter of Sunbury; her sisters, Bonnie Portlance of Canada, Joan McCall of South Carolina and June Smith of South Carolina; and her son-in-law Brian Shipton (Stephanie). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
