He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Haines, Sr. and Ruth Haines (Klinger); his children, Mandy Mayanja (Roger), Roxane Jones (Benjamin) and Shawn Haines; his grandchildren, Alexander, Benjamin Bontomase and Abbigail Jones; his siblings, Connie Houston (Jerry Butts), Cindy Ettinger, Ed Haines (Tina), Rick Haines, Skip Haines, Jr. (Michele) and Theresa Bonaparte (Haines); his brother-in-law Stan Ettinger; and his stepmother Vivian Haines (Conrad). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
