She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton J. Satterfield and Marion J. Satterfield (Whitlach); her husband Ray B. Bowersox; her brother Ralph Satterfield; and her stepdaughter Deborah I. Rachau.
She is survived by: her children, Richard M. Bowersox (Sherry) of Turbotville, Karen B. Yocum of Watsontown and Shannan B. Guthrie (Brent) of Lancaster; her stepson Dana R. Bowersox (Zach) of Danville; her grandchildren, Lauren Hursh, Shane Bowersox, Joshua Foresman, Latricia Yocum, Lex Yocum, Courtney Guthrie and Tate Guthrie; and her stepgrandchildren, Laura Bowersox, Charlie Bowersox, Cody Rachau and Mandy Rachau. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in Lou's memory be made to either the Danville SPCA, 2801 Bloom Rd. Danville, PA, 17821, or to your favorite animal rescue or shelter.
