She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Kilgus and Katie Kilgus (Artley); and her siblings, LaRue, Nile, Donald, Earl, Paul Kilgus, Helen and Naomi Kilgus.
She is survived by: her spouse Emerson D. Rupert. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
It was Emily's wish that memorial contributions be made to her church.
