He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Metzger and Josephine Metzger (Harmon); his grandson Joshua Biddle; and his siblings, Carl Metzger and Phyllis Milheim.
He is survived by: his wife Doloris E. Watson; his sons, Jeffrey Metzger (Deborah Kurtz), Wade Biddle and Erick Metzger (Nicole); and his siblings, Harold Metzger, George Metzger and Charlotte Sones. He is also survived by three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
