She was predeceased by: her parents, McClain M. Walter and Dessie M. Walter (Romig); her husband Richard R. Houtz; and her son John Houtz. She is survived by: her children, Mary Lou (Daniel Rider), Susan (Ray Kohler), Barbara and Dave; her daughter-in-law Mary Houtz of Milton; and her sisters, Nancy (Earl Bowersox) and Debra Chamberlain of Shamokin Dam. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
