He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest E. Eckley and Dorothy E. Eckley (Bubb); and his brother Howard E. Eckley. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lee Eckley (Hoar); his children, John W. Eckley, Jr. (Kathy) of Milroy and Cindy L. Roycroft of Reedsville; and his siblings, Lottie E. Stimely of Lewistown, James K. Eckley of Milroy, Janice Peachey of Burnham, Ralph E. Eckley of Milroy, Harold S. Eckley of Allensville, Thomas A. Eckley of Milroy and Nancy Seaholtz of Milroy. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
