He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Hannon and Miriam Hannon Richard (Bowersox); and his brothers, Clark, Reid and Jerry Hannon.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Hannon (Fultz); his children, Rex Allan Hannon, Margherita of Port St and Tina M. Houser of Milroy; his grandchildren, Zachary R. Houser (Laine), Cynthia Coggins (Gerard) and Tristan Nicole Crownover (Zachary); his brother Earl A. Hannon (Mary) of McClure; and his sister-in-law Katie Hannon of Lewistown. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
