John C. Betz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John C. Betz (Millville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 25, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George O. Betz and Stella Mae Betz (Long); his wife Susie Eleanor Gordner; his grandson Carl Derr; his son-in-law David Derr; and his siblings, George W., William J., Francis P., James O., Miles M. Betz and Jean D. Brehm.
He is survived by: his children, Harry Betz (Cathy) of Muncy, Melvin Betz (Pat) of Turbotville, Rita Derr of Bloomsburg, Mary Weikel (Robin) of Bellefonte and Bessie Zettlemoyer (Roger) of Turbotville. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and 5 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christian Gospel Fellowship (2938 PA-42, Millville, PA 17846). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
