He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Lou "Sue" Schindler; his children, Joseph Schindler (Laurie), Janine Kirker, Richard and Robert Schindler; his daughter-in-law Karen Schindler; and his siblings, Frederick, Remy, William, Anthony Schindler and Terri Bohn. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
