She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shumar and Dorothy Dillinger Shumar; her son Bruce Workman; and her brothers, Timothy Shumar and Dennis Holz.
She is survived by: her children, Jim, Kim Workman of Michigan, Linda, Richard, Michelle Workman of Ohio and Nanette Eloshway of Ohio; and her siblings, John Shumar, Ronald Shumar, Joel Shumar, Priscilla Tarr, Emma Christopher and Ted Shumar. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren.
