He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Hackenburg and Fay Hackenburg (Zimmerman); his wife Annabelle M. Smith; and his brother Donald Hackenburg. He is survived by: his son Larry; his daughter-in-law Patti Hackenburg of Millmont; his daughter Susan; his sons-in-law, Richard Zimmerman of Millmont and Craig Miller of Montgomery; his grandchildren, Scott (Pam Hackenburg), Jodi (Chip Schlegel), Christy Miller (Scott Hoffman), Jason (Deborah Zimmerman) and Lindsey (Derrick Weller); his stepgranddaughter Kelly (Ryan Smith); his great grandchildren, Madison, Zach, Nicholas, Kelsey, Chase, Bryce, Quinn, Ian and Greta; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Avery.
