He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert J. Ruckle and Estella B. Ruckle (Snedeker); his wife Laura Lee (Merrill); his children, Linda Katherman and Alan Ruckle; and his grandson Robert Duncan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Ruhl and Peggy Diehl. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.
