He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Brungart and Irene "Stover" Brungart; his wife Joanne Douty; and his siblings, Larry Brungart and Patricia Van Horn.
He is survived by: his children, Michele Hughes (Martin) of Mechanicsurg, Terry S. Brungart (Mary Kay) of Rebersburg and Timothy R. Brungart of Livonia; his grandchildren, Timothy R. Brungart, Jr., Nicole R. Brungart and Katie F. Hughes; his great grandchildren, Nina A. Eyer, Layla B. Brungart and Liam Brungart; his siblings, Phyllis Walker, Leona "Sue" Myers (Barry) and Byron Brungart (Jeanne); and his close friend Susan Johnson.
