He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Wasson and Nadine B. "Fortney" Wasson; his wife Catherine Myers; and his siblings, Nadine Ross, Janet Devinney, Joyce McCool, Ivan and Richard Wasson.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Wasson (Chris) of Burnham and Marion Snavely of Sunbury; his sister Phyllis Evey (Jerry); and his grandchildren, Kylie Bortner (Tony), Emily Shapard, Tyler Wasson, John Snavely (Stefanie) and Paul Snavely. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
